DFN Project SEARCH Conference 2023

The Conference countdown has begun!

We’re thrilled to announce that the DFN Project SEARCH Conference is heading to Blackpool this year.

The two-day event between 16th – 17th November will include keynote speeches, over 30 workshops, several networking opportunities and our Annual Awards evening, where we celebrate our wonderful host sites.

The Conference, held at the Winter Gardens and set against the backdrop of Blackpool illuminating charm, is designed to help participants expand their network and build their knowledge of all the opportunities that Supported Internships offer.

An opportunity for professional growth

This year’s conference is more than just an event. It’s a chance for professional growth where you’ll engage in interactive learning opportunities, gaining ideas and resources that you can directly apply to your organisation.

For those who work in business, the conference will offer a unique chance to not only enhance the quality of supported internships and intern recruitment but also to foster an inclusive culture that brings out the best in all your employees.

Prepare to gain valuable insights from various figures, including the DFN Project SEARCH Youth Advisory Group, the Founders of Project SEARCH, and the Chair and CEO of DFN Project SEARCH, among many others.

Join the #InclusionRevolution

The Conference is aimed at everyone, who – like us – is passionate about inclusivity and equity and about all young adults having the opportunity to secure good quality jobs so they can forge careers based on their individual talents.

Under the theme of Inspiring an Inclusion Revolution our 2023 Conference and Awards is an opportunity to showcase our shared objectives and best practices around addressing the challenges around youth employment.

We want to inspire more employers to ‘join the inclusion revolution’ and support more young adults with a learning disability, autism spectrum condition, or both, to secure full-time, paid work.
