DFN Project SEARCH awarded grant by Youth Futures Foundation

DFN Project SEARCH is delighted to announce it is 1 of 7 organisations to benefit from the £1.3m Infrastructure Fund awarded by the Youth Futures Foundation.

This grant will support DFN Project SEARCH in its work on their Bridging the Gap’ initiative, which has been set up to understand and apply good practice in supporting organisations who support young people towards and into paid and decent work.

Matthew Poole, Director of Grants and Investment, Youth Futures said “We are delighted to support DFN Project SEARCH in their work. The aim of Youth Futures funding, from Dormant Assets, is to test and evidence the best approaches to breaking down barriers and improving access to employment for young people from marginalised backgrounds. This partnership will support our ambitions and help to deliver our vision.”

Claire Cookson, Chief Executive Officer, DFN Project SEARCH said “We’re delighted to work alongside the Youth Futures Foundation on our ‘Bridging the Gap’ initiative, which will break down the barriers and misconceptions that young adults with learning disabilities or autism spectrum conditions face on a daily basis around access to employment.”
