Ben joined DFN Project SEARCH in 2023 with one clear goal - to maintain employment. Determined to develop new skills and gain valuable work experience, Ben embraced every opportunity presented through the programme.

Ben’s work placements spanned three venues: Crichton Central, Easterbrook Bistro, and Easterbrook Hall.
These experiences allowed Ben to extend his knowledge of front-of-house operations, whilst gaining experience in events.
Ben worked diligently throughout all three work rotations, consistently demonstrating commitment, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
By the end of the second rotation, Ben’s dedication was recognised, and he successfully secured paid employment hours at the Crichton.
