Dealing with difficult situations (keeping calm)
When Oliver started college, he had a range of challenges related to sustaining focus, self-regulation, and aspects of self-management, which often impacted his interactions with others.
Throughout his internship, Oliver consistently demonstrated a positive attitude and strong passion for his placement role within the Self Checkouts (Scan & Go) and Click & Collect teams, always striving to do his very best in every task he undertook.
Oliver initially found dealing with difficult customers a challenge, however over time he developed the skills and practices needed to remain calm and deal with the situation/customer with professionalism.
Over the past year, the growth in Oliver’s maturity has been especially noticeable, representing a meaningful and impactful step forward in his personal development, and placing him in a strong position as he prepares for his next steps. He continues to apply for job vacancies and his internship year will stand him in good stead to secure employment.
Oliver picks up tasks quickly, he is a fast worker who is able to follow orders strategically. He takes great pride in his work and is a pleasure to work with.
