Sean Kime was referred to Supported Employment in October 2023 by his local Jobcentreplus. Sean was looking for employment however wasn’t sure where to begin.

Sean started Project EmployAbility, an initiative that focussed on building confidence, teamwork and communication skills through practical activities in Hillhouse Workshops followed by tangible, supported work experience at a local golf course.
Sean flourished during his time on Project EmployAbility. He felt confident in his abilities and what he had to offer the world of work.
Sean’s next step was to apply for DFN Project Search. Sean was interviewed for the programme by Sandy Clark (ISS Key Account Director) who was so impressed that he offered Sean 6 weeks work placement within University Hospital Hairmyres.
Sean completed his 6 weeks to great feedback and reviews from the ISS team. He was offered a part time contract with them as a Porter.
