We are fortunate to have received funding from some of the most respected Trusts and Foundations in the country, which have formed the backbone of our support since DFN Project SEARCH was established in 2019.
Through generous multi-year grants, they have helped us expand our supported internship programmes across the UK, giving more young people aged 16-24 with a learning disability, who are autistic, or both, access to high-quality supported internships.
Funding from Trust and Foundations has supported more young people to develop the skills, confidence and experience they need to make a successful transition from education into meaningful employment.
Their support has also enabled us to establish and develop our advocacy and engagement work, ensuring that the voices of the young people we serve are at the heart of everything we do.
