Amy Mitchell is a member of the Executive Team at DFN Project SEARCH and serves as Director of Programmes, leading the development, delivery and quality of programmes that support young people with learning disabilities and autism into sustainable employment. She also steers the charity’s advocacy and engagement work, with a strong focus on co-production and beneficiary voice.
With nearly 20 years’ experience across education, leadership development and the third sector, Amy has built a reputation for driving impact through innovative programme design, strategic leadership and evidence-informed improvement.
Prior to joining DFN Project SEARCH, Amy held several senior roles at Teach First, including Chief Impact Officer, where she led strategy, programme delivery, research, evaluation and innovation. She has a strong track record of leading transformation and building effective partnerships across education, government and the voluntary sector.
Amy holds an Executive MBA with Distinction, is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and lives in Bristol with her husband and two children.
