Courtney’s passion for inclusion began long before she joined DFN Project SEARCH. Having progressed through several roles within the organisation, she now serves as Head of Delivery and Partnerships, following positions as Programme Specialist for Scotland and Country Lead.
Before joining DFN Project SEARCH, Courtney worked across primary and secondary education as an Assistant Headteacher and Advanced Lead Teacher. Throughout her career, she has designed bespoke curricula, delivered programmes including The King’s Trust, and developed a strong interest in supporting young people as they transition from education into employment.
Courtney has extensive experience in programme implementation, staff development, curriculum design, safeguarding and systems change. She is passionate about tackling inequality and improving pathways for people who face barriers to employment and is committed to playing her part in ensuring more people with learning disabilities and/or autistic people can access meaningful careers.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys coaching girls’ rugby, spending time with her German Shepherd, and keeping up with her two teenage daughters.
