John Stewart joined DFN Project Search in October 2023 following completion of a Life Skills college course.

Sean Kime was referred to Supported Employment in October 2023 by his local Jobcentreplus. Sean was looking for employment however wasn’t sure where to begin.

Trish began her journey in Foundation Learning experiencing a range of challenges, particularly around social interactions, friendships, communication and timekeeping.

When Abbey joined Asda Oldbury in July 2025 as part of the DFN Supported Internship programme, she arrived with significant anxiety, low self-confidence and concerns about taking on new challenges.

I chose to come to Project SEARCH after hearing about it at Horizons Sixth Form. It felt like a smooth transition for me and I liked the idea of being based in one place.

Sayful attended The Westminster School and in the hopes of gaining employment joined the DFN Project SEARCH programme in 2025.
